About the Organisation

The Infrastructure and Development Bank of Zimbabwe (IDBZ) is a national Development Finance Institution (DFI) with a mandate to support the development and financing of infrastructure and other development projects across Zimbabwe. The Bank also delivers customised financing solutions to the productive sectors of the economy.

Role Overview

The Resource Mobilisation Consultant will provide support in the execution of resource mobilisation activities for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and securing funding sources and investment opportunities
• Support the development and implementation of resource mobilisation strategies
• Prepare and review proposals, reports, and documentation related to resource mobilisation
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate funding agreements
• Monitor and track resource mobilisation progress against targets

Qualifications and Experience

• Advanced degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
• Proven experience in resource mobilisation, fundraising, or development finance
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and development financing
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of the Zimbabwean development landscape is an advantage
