About the Role

The IT Intern will provide essential support to the Information Technology Department's daily operations. This position involves delivering first-line technical assistance, helping with the installation and upkeep of computer hardware and software, and maintaining the smooth functioning of IT systems. The intern will acquire hands-on experience in network administration, systems support, and IT asset management while making meaningful contributions to the department's activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to end-users
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software
• Ensure the efficient operation of IT systems across the organization
• Help manage IT assets and maintain accurate inventory records
• Support network administration tasks as needed
• Contribute to systems support and troubleshooting activities
• Learn and apply best practices in IT operations

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing in an IT environment
