The Opportunity

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join the leadership team of this impactful organization. The role involves overseeing financial operations for Lesedi Schools and Clinic, supporting the mission to enhance community well-being through sustainable programs.

Lesedi Schools & Clinic, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all financial operations for the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Oversee accounting functions for both the school and clinic operations
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and donor requirements
• Prepare financial statements and reports for stakeholders and board members
• Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls
• Manage cash flow and treasury functions
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the leadership team
• Support grant management and donor reporting
• Supervise finance staff and manage the finance department

Qualifications & Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of progressive financial management experience
• Experience in the non-profit or education sector is preferred
• Strong knowledge of Zimbabwean tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to the mission and values of the organization
