Direct Sales Agent

About the Role

EBC Advisory Consulting Outsourcing is seeking a dynamic Direct Sales Agent to join our expanding team in Kampala, Uganda. This is a frontline, customer-facing position where you will engage walk-in customers at assigned retail locations, promote Palm Pay's device financing solutions, and drive sales conversions. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, energy, and a results-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage and welcome walk-in customers with enthusiasm to drive interest and conversions
• Clearly explain Palm Pay's device financing value proposition to potential customers
• Pre-qualify and vet customers before initiating applications to ensure eligibility and reduce rejection rates
• Convert customer interest into completed applications and sales
• Guide customers through the loan application and onboarding process smoothly
• Act as a liaison between customers and HQ operations to resolve onboarding issues quickly
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage timely repayments
• Conduct proactive follow-ups to minimize defaults, especially First Payment Default (FPD1)
• Support overall portfolio health through continuous engagement
• Ensure Palm Pay branding and product displays are visible, clean, and attractive
• Maintain compliance with pricing and promotional guidelines
• Create a positive brand experience to stand out in competitive retail environments
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Accurately track and report sales activities and performance
• Contribute to overall team profitability through consistent performance
