## Title: Road Safety Awareness and Training Services Contractor – Kingfisher Development Area

About CNOOC Uganda Limited

CNOOC Uganda Limited (CNOOC), a subsidiary of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, is an oil and gas exploration and production company and Operator of the Kingfisher Development Area located in Holma and Kikwube Districts.

Position Overview

CNOOC is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to provide Road Safety Awareness, Training, and Community Sensitization Services (RFP-CUL-LD-00819).

Scope of Work

The program aims to enhance road safety awareness among communities in Kikwube District, Holma, and Holma City, specifically targeting the sub-counties of Kyangwali, Kabwya, Kabale, Buseruka, and adjacent areas.

Key service areas include:

  • Road safety awareness initiatives
  • Safe usage of protective gear training
  • Behavioral change programming
  • Community sensitization activities

Minimum Requirements

Interested bidders must submit documentation via the Company CBOID system meeting the following minimum requirements:

  • Valid registration on the National Supplier Database (NSD) maintained by the Petroleum Authority of Uganda for service providers in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Certificate of Incorporation/Registration
  • Articles and Memorandum of Association
  • Beneficial ownership forms from URSB
  • Tax registration certificate
  • Tax clearance certificate
  • NSSF registration certificate
  • NSSF clearance certificates

Joint Ventures and Consortiums

Where Joint Ventures are applicable, parties shall submit Joint Venture agreements approved by PAU, especially between Ugandan and Non-Ugandan companies.

Expressions of interest from suitable partnerships and consortiums/vendors for the provision of required services are encouraged. Preference will be given to suitably qualified in-country registered entities demonstrating commitment to statutory requirements.
