The company has 25 years of experience in the production and commercialization of high-quality agricultural seed such as cereals and pulses, as well as the distributor of East West International hybrid vegetables seeds. NASECO has its head office in Kampala and production plant in Nalweyo Kakumiro district. Job Purpose Responsible for Revenue Accounting functions including Cash Sales, Managing and safe custody of receipts, maintaining financial records and reporting as well as stock monitoring. The incumbent ensures strong internal controls and prudent management of financial resources. Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field and CPA/ACCA Level 3 is highly desirable and a MUST. At least two years’ work experience in a busy finance office. Practical experience in using computerized financial accounting packages e.g. Tally. Meticulous attention to detail; ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency, good organization and time-management skills, Numeracy skills, Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Verify planting returns and post input loans and weight notes into the systemReconcile out grower deliveries against inputs advanced and calculate net paymentsFollow up on outstanding Out grower debts and coordinate recovery actionsReceive customer orders, check stock availability, and issue invoicesHandle cash sales with proper receipting and daily bankingManage credit customers including statements and overdue follow-upsPost all daily transactions including sales, receipts, and paymentsReconcile bank, cash, customer and out grower ledgers monthlyMaintain chart of accounts and enure regular data backupsMaintain accurate records of raw, processed, and dispatched stockMonitor stock movements and report discrepanciesConduct periodic physical stock countsMaintain fixed asset register including location, cost, and depreciationCoordinate annual physical asset verificationProcess asset disposals with proper approvalsPrepare daily reports on stock receipts, dispatches, and cash collectedPrepare monthly reports on sales, outgrower payments, debts, and stock holdingsMaintain insurance schedule and track renewal datesEnsure timely filling and payment of PAYE, VAT, NSSF, and other statutory obligationsMaintain an easily traceable physical and electronic filing system for all financial documentsParticipate in weekly departmental meetingsPerform any other duties assigned by the supervisor Meticulous attention to detailAbility to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiencyGood organization and time-management skillsNumeracy skillsTeam player with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of integrity and confidentialityPractical experience in using computerized financial accounting packages e.g. Tally Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related fieldCPA/ACCA Level 3 is highly desirable and a MUST
