Quality Inspector

Job Summary

A leading employer is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to conduct tests, analyse results, and produce reports to support quality standards of products and processes. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting materials, products, and equipment, identifying product defects, and recording findings in test logs. This role plays a vital role in ensuring that manufactured products meet predefined quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met
• Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors
• Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations
• Collaborate with production team to implement and monitor quality control programs
• Interpret and implement quality standards and procedures
• Prepare and maintain documentation of inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Identify and troubleshoot problems with products or processes
• Recommend modifications in products or quality standards where necessary
• Work closely with the production team to ensure consistent quality in all products
• Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with both national and international regulatory standards
• Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
• Use statistical analysis software to monitor product quality
