Kalangala Infrastructure Services Ltd (KIS) is a private limited company operating on Bugala Island, Kalangala District. The company provides daily ferry services between Bugala Island and the Mainland, generates and distributes electricity, and supplies treated water on Bugala Island.

Tender Overview

KIS invites interested companies to bid for the supply and installation of GI tank cover materials on a 100m³ steel tank for water storage at Kalangala Town Council on Bugala Island, Kalangala District.

Application Requirements

Interested applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of UGX 50,000 (Fifty Thousand Uganda Shillings only).

Upon payment, submit a scanned copy of the bank deposit slip or official payment confirmation. Payment verification can be completed either digitally or by physical presentation at the KIS Kampala or Kalangala office.

Applicants must clearly indicate their official vendor email address in their payment communication. The official Bidding Document will be issued via email to the declared official vendor email address upon verification of payment.

Bid Submission Guidelines

All bids must be submitted in sealed separate envelopes for both technical and financial components
Bids should be addressed to "KIS Procurement Committee"
Submission deadline: 20th April 2026 at or before 5:00 pm
Bids can be delivered at the KIS office in Kampala or Kalangala town

Bid Opening

Bid opening will be conducted in accordance with KIS Internal procedures on Tuesday 21st April 2026, at 11:00 am (subject to change).

All other bidders will receive a debrief via email after the evaluation process
Kalangala Infrastructure Services Ltd reserves the right to reject any bid
KIS is not obliged to award the contract to the lowest bidder or any bidder
