Driver & Stores Assistant – Pietermaritzburg

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team in Pietermaritzburg as a Driver & Stores Assistant. This is a hands-on position involving deliveries, stores work, stock handling, picking/packing, and basic computer/system processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers in Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas
• Receive, check, pack, and dispatch stock
• Pick and pack customer orders
• Load and offload goods when required
• Keep the stores/warehouse clean and organised
• Assist with stock counts, GRVs, and order checks
• Perform basic system capturing and processing
• Check invoices, delivery notes, and stock documents

Requirements

• Valid driver's licence
• Clean driving record
• Knowledge of Pietermaritzburg and surrounding areas
• Basic computer literacy
• Stores, warehouse, dispatch, or delivery experience (preferred)
• Physically fit and willing to do hands-on work
• Honest, punctual, reliable, and hardworking
• Contactable references required

Job Characteristics

This is not an office-based position. The role involves driving, stores duties, cleaning, loading/offloading, and stock handling.

Selection Process
