Position Purpose

To increase copy sales and develop relationships with partners in the distribution channel while meeting set sales targets and maintaining optimal return levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and coordinate sales and distribution of newspapers in areas served by franchised wholesale distributors
• Survey urban and suburban areas to determine newspaper sales potential using statistical analysis and recommend new outlets and locations for newsstands and street sale racks
• Schedule delivery and distribution of newspapers, regulating order sizes to maintain maximum sales with minimum return levels
• Open new sales channels to improve copy sales, supported by strategic sales initiatives
• Evaluate distributor and vendor sales performance daily and provide support through sales promotion and training programs
• Inspect routes to ensure prompt and regular delivery of newspapers to distributors and vendors
