Position Overview

Department: Engineering
Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania
Employment Status: Permanent, Full-Time

Role Objective

Successfully deliver the planned maintenance regime while fulfilling statutory obligations and providing responsive breakdown maintenance services. Harmonize customer and organizational requirements through effective technical expertise and proactive planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards
• Perform work to OEM standards and ensure continuous quality improvements
• Plan work activities prior to execution
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organization

Required Qualifications

• VETA trade test certificate Grade One or Level Three in Mechanic Engineering
• Diploma or FTC in relevant field
