About the Organization

Peoples Bank of Zanzibar Limited (PBZ) is a commercial bank fully owned by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar. The bank provides excellent financial services to customers in Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania. PBZ is strengthening service delivery and expanding the sales of its products by inviting applications from energetic, creative, and persuasive young Tanzanians to join the Sales positions within the Marketing Department.

Position Overview

This is a fixed-term contract position based at various PBZ branches and service centers in Mainland Tanzania, including Dar es Salaam.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell bank products and services to new and existing customers
• Encourage customers to open accounts and utilize PBZ banking products
• Provide accurate information to customers about PBZ services and ensure customer satisfaction
• Participate in all sales and marketing activities
• Achieve set sales targets and submit timely performance reports

Required Qualifications

• Tanzanian citizen
• 35 years of age or below
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Insurance, International Relations, or related field
• Original academic certificates
• Valid CV and Birth Certificate
• Not a current government employee
