Material kitting supervisor

About the Role

The Material Kitting Supervisor is responsible for managing warehouse-based material preparation and kitting activities for telecom rollout projects. This position ensures that all equipment is accurately received, stored, tracked, assembled, and dispatched according to project requirements and site configurations. The supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring timely availability of correct materials to support smooth and uninterrupted site deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse-based material preparation and kitting operations
• Align with ROM and PM regarding purchase orders, ordered equipment, and quantities
• Maintain updated status of equipment arrival versus orders and provide regular feedback to PM and ROM
• Work with ROM to prepare and assemble materials and equipment for delivery to new sites
• Acquire and review site configuration files to ensure prepared equipment aligns with destination site specifications
• Obtain sign-off documents from delivery agents confirming equipment designation and quantities received from the warehouse for delivery to assigned sites
• Maintain comprehensive filing system for site delivery notes and configuration documents to track equipment distribution
• Update inbound and outbound inventory records with site names and equipment details
• Provide early alerts to ROM and PM regarding any foreseen equipment shortages to prevent rollout delays
• Track dismantled equipment returning from swapped sites and clearly label items with corresponding site names

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field
