SAQ Specialist/Manager

About the Role

The SAQ Specialist/Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end site acquisition and permitting activities for telecom network rollout projects. This role ensures that all required approvals, licenses, right of way (RoW), and regulatory permissions are obtained in line with contractual obligations, project timelines, quality standards, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure site acquisition activities meet customer requirements and are within scope of contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards
• Lead permitting processes with local authorities and prepare rollout schedules based on realistic lead times
• Support the design and implementation of corrective actions as needed
• Drive the development of project plans
• Manage activities according to project plans, quality standards, costs, and deployment processes
• Lead permitting coordination with local authorities and customers, including model site drawings, lease fee frameworks, and approval processes
• Resolve local issues and ensure all standards and guidelines are followed
• Establish and maintain document control and storage systems
• Verify that deployment management relies on fact-based and verified schedules and forecasts
• Collect actual service delivery performance information and determine causes of any perceived deviations
• Gather information to provide latest estimates to project completion
• Organize training and provide support to local service suppliers as required
• Follow up on and report work progress related to schedules and quality, escalating deviations as needed
• Monitor and control service delivery
