Position Overview

A Private Company is seeking a qualified Fleet Performance Manager to join its team in Mwanza, Tanzania. This full-time position focuses on optimizing equipment availability and operational performance in the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and root causes of low equipment availability
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve equipment uptime and operational performance
• Conduct root cause analysis on downtime events and implement corrective actions
• Manage performance improvement projects based on data insights
• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and manufacturers to align on performance improvement strategies
• Provide technical and operational guidance to site leadership on maintenance practices and equipment usage

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mining, or related field)
• 3+ years of experience in mining operations, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment performance management
• Proven experience in data analysis and performance monitoring of equipment fleets
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes, downtime analysis, and reliability improvement techniques
