Head of Business Operations

About the Role

Smart Africa Group (SAG) is seeking a visionary Head of Business Operations to lead SmartLab's operations, strategy, and growth. In this full-time position based in Dar es Salaam, you will drive operational excellence across accelerator programs, learning platforms, and innovation projects while building strategic partnerships and leading the organization's P&L to deliver measurable community and commercial impact across Tanzania and the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across accelerator programs, learning platforms, and innovation projects
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with corporates, development agencies, and government entities
• Lead SmartLab's P&L to deliver measurable community and commercial impact across Tanzania and the region
• Develop and implement organizational strategy to support growth and sustainable operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in innovation ecosystems, accelerators, or technology-driven organizations
• Strong track record in B2B/B2G partnerships and stakeholder management
