About the Role
Smart Africa Group (SAG) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales of enterprise technology solutions to businesses and government institutions. You will own the complete sales cycle, from lead generation and solution positioning through proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure across our comprehensive portfolio of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full sales cycle management including lead generation, needs assessment, and solution positioning
- Develop and present proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiate contracts and close enterprise deals
- Sell across SmartNology's portfolio including software development, cloud services, cybersecurity, digital payments, and digital platform services
- Identify, manage, and grow strategic partnerships to expand delivery capacity
- Build and maintain relationships with government and corporate clients
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within enterprise technology, software, or digital transformation sectors
- Experience selling to government institutions and large corporations (strongly preferred)
