Position Overview

Title: Tradesperson 1 – UG HV Electrical

Department: Engineering

Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania

Employment Status: Permanent, Full-Time

Role Objective

To effectively manage electrical maintenance activities at underground operations, including underground electrical reticulation systems, dewatering facilities, camp facilities and infrastructure, overhead power lines, power generation, medium voltage tasks, and ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair high-voltage electrical systems
• Perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting
• Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety and electrical standards
• Assemble and install electrical and electronic systems in equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure maximum output according to design specifications
• Cooperate with all stakeholders and assist in coordinating electrical works
