Role Objective

The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Engineer 2 – Electrical – Substation in completing all task assignments related to the GGM 33kV/11kV, 80MVA substation operations and maintenance. You will work safely to optimize production at reasonable cost and perform other electrical works under the Electrical Section.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce proper work methods and safety precautions to required quality and standards
• Complete assigned tasks on time and effectively utilize resources
• Manage synchronization between different substations: GPL, Wartsila, and GGM main Substation
• Operate switching procedures for 33kV and 11kV breakers
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting
• Maintain housekeeping standards
• Engage in continuous learning and technical development
