About Geita Gold Mining Ltd

Geita Gold Mining Ltd (GGML) is Tanzania's leading gold producer, operating a single mining facility in the Lake Victoria Gold fields of Northwestern Tanzania. Located approximately 85 km from Mwanza City and 20 km southeast of Lake Victoria, the company is a subsidiary of AngloGold Ashanti with its head office in Geita and a supporting office in Dar es Salaam.

Position Overview

Department: Engineering – HME Field Service

Location: Geita Gold Mine, Tanzania

Employment Status: Permanent, Full-Time

Role Objective

To supervise mining equipment maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and breakdown work, while maintaining high operational standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for mining equipment
• Manage corrective maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Supervise field service team activities and performance
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Maintain maintenance schedules and documentation
