Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Project Officer at our regional office for East Africa and the Horn of Africa in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Project Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Country Project Coordinator and the leadership of the Regional Director (East Africa/Horn of Africa). This role supports DVV International's activities in non-formal adult education at macro, meso, and micro levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to stakeholders at national, regional, and district levels in the implementation and management of activities in adult literacy, technical and vocational education, non-formal and community education
• Support government and non-governmental partners at national and decentralized levels in implementing the national 'Integrated Community-Based Adult Education' (ICBAE) programme
• Contribute to the development of a multi-sectoral implementation strategy for non-formal youth and adult education
• Manage monitoring and evaluation activities, including development and implementation of monitoring frameworks
