HOPAC was founded in 1994 for children of missionaries and has evolved into a Christian international school with a diverse student population that includes children of missionaries and full-time Christian service workers, children of expats working in the non-profit and for-profit sectors, and children of Tanzanians working in the non-profit, for-profit, and public sectors. Digital Learning & Library Media Specialist leads the development and management of a dynamic, Christ-centered learning commons that integrates library services, information literacy, and educational technology. This role supports student achievement by equipping learners with research, critical thinking, and digital literacy skills necessary for independent and lifelong learning. The Specialist collaborates with teachers and school leadership to embed information and technology literacy across the curriculum, ensuring students become discerning, ethical, and effective users of information. Ideal candidates for all positions will be self-motivated, team players, adaptable, and willing to learn with experience working in multicultural, international settings, and fluent in English. HOPAC follows the Cambridge curriculum and is an ACSI/MSA accredited school.

Qualifications or requirements

Committed evangelical Christian with a heart for student development and discipleship Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science or a related field Experience working in a library or educational setting Demonstrated experience with instructional and educational technology tools Strong understanding of information literacy and research practices Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Fluency in English
