Job Summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the market presence of our fish products through the establishment of various sales channels. This field-based role involves developing strong relationships with clients and customers, identifying new market opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales goals. We are seeking a solution-oriented individual who can demonstrate proactive leadership, commercial judgement, and independent problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and manage community traders
- Develop and grow HORECA, supermarket, regional, and cross-border accounts
- Coordinate closely with the second Sales Officer to align strategy and market coverage
- Manage daily cash collections, credit control, and repayment tracking
- Coordinate delivery schedules and distribution logistics
- Identify and support establishment of a strategic depot location in Kigoma
