Mining Tech Support

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for resolving complex technical issues related to mining equipment
• Provide technical support to service operations, mining sites, and customers
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on product issues, technical support, and system improvements
• Provide technical training and support to internal teams and customers on product systems and reporting processes
• Monitor product performance and prepare regular reports on key technical issues and trends

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field
• 10+ years' experience in mining equipment service and technical support, including hands-on field experience
• Strong knowledge of heavy mining equipment systems including hydraulics, electrical systems, and transmissions
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Experience working with manufacturer systems (e.g., Caterpillar SIS, DSN, or similar platforms)
