About the Organization

Key Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles safely and follow travel schedules
• Ensure the safety of cargo and vehicle during transport
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Report any challenges related to the vehicle or trip
• Make trips within Dar es Salaam Region and outside the country as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class E driving license
• At least 3 years of experience driving cargo trucks
• VETA certificate (verified)
• Tanzanian citizen
• Age between 26 and 50 years
• Ability to read and write
• Physically and mentally healthy
• No tattoos on the body
• Clean criminal record
• Understanding of road safety laws
• Honest, disciplined, and hardworking character

Required Documents

• Birth certificate
• National Identification Card (NIDA) or passport
• TIN number
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Job application letter (written in English or Swahili)
• Three colour passport-size photographs
• Identification from local government chairperson
• Three guarantors, each providing:
  • Guarantee letter
  • National Identification Card (NIDA), driver's license, passport, or voter's identification card
  • Local government identification
