HSSE Coordinator – Lube Oil Blending Plant

Context & Environment

HSE is a responsibility of everyone. Your main objective is to build a strong safety culture among all employees and contractors working at your site.

This role involves working long hours and occasionally on weekends and public holidays.

Key Coordination Areas

Internal: Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Logistics & Dispatch, and Specialties Manager

External: Contractors, Consultants, Transporters, Customers, and Government institutions such as OSHA & NEMC

Responsibilities

• Continuously implement, ensure compliance with, and improve the HSE Management System
• Ensure compliance with the work permit system and prevention plan by approving work permits and conducting regular audits
• Verify that all contractors working at the facility are trained on TotalEnergies HSE requirements and complete ICC audits and worksite safety training prior to commencing work
• Conduct day-to-day supervision of high-risk works within the plant, including inspections and evaluation of contractor HSE performance
• Educate the workforce on occupational hazards and necessary precautions before work begins
• Implement the ZERO Accident Program and IZI Safety initiatives
• Participate in incident investigation and analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Report all incidents to the Lubricant Operations Manager and HSEQ Manager, and share lessons learned with staff and contractors
• Ensure proper availability and correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintain and follow up on firefighting equipment at the plant
• Coordinate safety initiatives and programs
