Role Objective

To equip a Graduate Mine Surveyor with fundamental open pit mine surveying techniques, methods, equipment, and working environment knowledge to attain required skills, competence, and experience while taking part in critical aspects of technical services provided by the survey section.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate survey control and set-out services to support safe and efficient mining operations
• Conduct pit, stockpile, and mining limit surveys to ensure excavation aligns with approved designs
• Set out drill and blast patterns, grade control holes, exploration holes, and other key survey requirements
• Prepare survey files from mine designs and complete pre-blast verification surveys
• Use and maintain surveying equipment to a high operational standard
• Apply laser scanning technology to capture survey data
