Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and developmental organization in general consultation status with UN ECOSOC, operating in 40 countries worldwide. GNI Rwanda is legally registered and works to improve child sponsorship and protection, health, education, WASH, agriculture and livelihood, humanitarian assistance, advocacy, and social economy across 19 districts in Rwanda.

Position Overview

Good Neighbors International seeks qualified, dynamic, and self-motivated individuals for the position of Child Protection Field Officer. Two positions are available:

• One position based at Runda Community Development Project (CDP), Runda Sector, Kamonyi District
• Two positions based at Cyiri Community Development Project (CDP), Gikonko Sector, Gisagara District

Key Responsibilities

• Locate, visit, and build strong relationships with sponsored children and their parents
• Initiate and manage active village-based children clusters with monthly meetings
• Organize and lead quarterly meetings with sponsored parents
• Manage sponsored children cases, including emergency medical treatment support, follow-up, reporting, and counseling for abused children
• Conduct health checkups for sponsored children under supervision
• Advocate for and follow up on sponsored children experiencing malnutrition
• Maintain children's school attendance and prevent dropouts among sponsored children
• Prepare, collect, and submit all sponsorship reports accurately and on time (GML, ACL, APR, Dropouts, and CIF)
