JOB OFFER
The partnership between Rhineland-Palatinate and Rwanda has existed for more than 40 years. It began in 1982 as an attempt by two countries to reshape development policy and has now become an internationally recognised model of citizen-oriented, decentralised, and efficient international cooperation at the local level. The Coordination Office of the Partnership between Rhineland-Palatinate and Rwanda (Jumelage) oversees most of the projects carried out within the framework of the partnership.
The Coordination Office of the Partnership Rhineland-Palatinate/Rwanda is looking for a Junior Administrator in the Social Department
General tasks:
To support planning, implementation and monitoring of project activities mainly in the area of inclusion, social empowerment and income generating measures
To support the drafting of project proposals
To support the preparation of financial and narrative reports
Tosupport the development of strategic plans for capacity building, benefiting cooperatives in rural areas
To support the facilitation of conceptual and strategic plans for the social department portfolio
To conduct field visits on a regular basis
To support the annual reporting, annual planning and evaluation of projects
To support the strengthening of existing cooperations and the identification of potential new partners
To support the communication and collaboration with Rwandan and Rhineland-Palatinate partners
To support the exchange encounters of Rwandan and Rhineland-Palatinate partners in both states
Required qualifications and competencies:
A university degree (Bachelor level) in social work, development cooperation, (inclusive) education or in related fields
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role and with similar responsibilities
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office programs
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kinyarwanda, German and French language skills are an asset
Initiative and ability to work independently
Ability to develop own ideas for project proposals
Being proactive
Team-oriented way of working
High organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure
Flexibility and reliable in work results
