Position Overview

Bank of Africa – Rwanda seeks a creative and hands-on Graphic Designer & Social Media Officer to manage our day-to-day digital presence at the Head Office. This role combines primary graphic design and social media management with basic content production to tell our brand story, grow online visibility, and produce high-quality content reflecting the professionalism of a leading financial institution.

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will ensure that all digital content aligns with the Bank's brand guidelines, enhances customer engagement, and supports marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and promoting the Bank's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Bank's social media presence across all platforms
  • Create and design high-quality graphic content for digital and print materials
  • Develop content strategies aligned with marketing campaigns
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital communications
  • Produce engaging social media posts and multimedia content
  • Monitor social media analytics and report on performance metrics
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer and/or Social Media Manager
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design and social media work
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
  • Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars
  • Knowledge of brand guidelines and visual identity management
  • Understanding of financial services industry preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
