Accountant

Job Overview

Maxtech Electric Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking Accountant to support our finance team. Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions (sales, expenses)
• Assist in preparing receipts and payments
• Count and record stock movement (track incoming and outgoing inventory)
• Ensure stock records match with sales and purchases
• Support in tracking company accounts and financial reports
• Work with URA to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Assist in submitting financial statements and required tax documents
• Help with bank transactions, deposits, and reconciliations
• Maintain organized financial records and documents

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 1 year of relevant experience or recent graduate in accounting/finance

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Understanding of Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) tax procedures
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Honest, organized, and willing to learn
