About the Role
The Library Officer will support daily library operations and ensure an efficient and conducive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, classify, and catalogue books and library materials
- Assist users in locating resources and using library facilities
- Maintain accurate records of borrowed and returned materials
- Ensure proper shelving and cleanliness of the library
- Support library programs, events, and administrative tasks
- Maintain order, quietness, and a conducive study atmosphere
Requirements
- Minimum OND in Library Science, Office Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 0–3 years of experience in a similar role
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Computer literacy (advantageous)
- Basic knowledge of library operations (advantageous)
