About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Hotel Account Officer.
Responsibilities
- Control payroll operations
- Produce accurate month-end accounts with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods
- Prepare profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for senior management
- Assist in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue
- Reconcile bank statements
- Ensure compliance with VAT and PAYE legislation
- Chase late payments, report bad debts, and monitor cash flow
Requirements
- Relevant accounting qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
