8 Background African Women and Youth Action for Development (AWYAD) is a national locally led, women, children and youth-focused humanitarian and development organization committed to protecting and empowering women, youth, and children across Uganda. AWYAD implements integrated protection, child protection, gender-based violence (GBV), mental health and psychosocial support (MPSS), education, and livelihoods programmes in refugee settlements and host communities. AWYAD is seeking qualified, competent, and passionate individuals to fill the following positions across different field locations in Uganda under its Protection Programme. Key Responsibilities Provide GBV case management services, psychosocial support, referrals, safety planning, and documentation while ensuring confidentiality and survivor-centered approaches. Minimum Requirements Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, Counselling Psychology or related field Experience Needed Minimum 2 years’ experience in GBV case management.
