About the Role

The Zimbabwe Bata Shoe Company is looking for a highly capable and results-driven Internal Audit Manager to lead and oversee its internal audit operations. The chosen candidate will assess and enhance the efficiency of risk management, internal controls, governance procedures, and compliance systems throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the internal audit function, including planning, executing, and reporting on audit engagements
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management processes and internal control systems
• Review governance structures and ensure adherence to established policies and regulations
• Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations to senior management
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred
• Proven experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
• High level of integrity and professionalism
