Position Overview

Methodica Consulting is seeking an evaluator or expert in peacebuilding and access to justice for the Great Lakes region. The successful candidate will join our evaluation team on selected mandates, supporting the development and implementation of evaluation methodologies and conducting in-country data collection activities.

Key Requirements

• Based in either DRC or Rwanda
• 10+ years of experience in peacebuilding and/or access to justice projects in DRC or Rwanda
• Knowledge of the legal, judicial, and political context of the Great Lakes region
• Demonstrated network of contacts amongst judicial and political-administrative actors in DRC or Rwanda
• Master's degree or PhD, preferably in law; other eligible subjects include conflict resolution, peacebuilding, human rights, international relations, or development
• Excellent written and spoken French and English; knowledge of local languages/dialects is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring and evaluation (M&E)
