Job Purpose
The Junior Claims Administrator will communicate with customers on all matters pertaining to fast track claims, ensuring efficient processing and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with customers and/or brokers on matters pertaining to windscreen and plumbing claims
- Contact clients and arrange appointments
- Appoint service providers to attend to claims promptly to assist clients
- Authorize or decline claims
- Handle queries relating to claims
- Process purchase orders on the internal system
- Liaise with customers on service-related issues
- Liaise with internal divisions and regions where applicable on claims issues
- Monitor the fast track claims process
- Follow up with service providers on the progress and completion of claims
- Assist with general administration duties
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 (minimum requirement)
- Ability to arrange own transport to and from the workplace (own transport preferred)
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and Outlook)
- Ability to work in an organized manner with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills (well-spoken, good listening skills, and strong telephone skills)
- Problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflict professionally and responsibly
- Ability to adapt to change and work under pressure within given timelines
- Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail
