• Duty Station: Sede Muja and East Belesa (Amhara Region)
• Contract Duration: Ends October 31, 2026
• Salary: As per the organization's salary scale

Purpose of the Position

The Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination, planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of DFSA-TRAIN project sectors at woreda level. This position ensures the organization's M&E system is properly applied and provides leadership in project design, planning, and implementation oversight.

Principal Responsibilities

Planning

• Draw up plans, proposals, and budgets for new projects and extensions in collaboration with all stakeholders
• Develop project planning and monitoring guidelines in alignment with project context, jointly with DFSA headquarters M&E team
• Coordinate, prepare, and document annual planning activities

Monitoring, Evaluation & Coordination

• Coordinate program and project design at woreda level
• Monitor project implementation to ensure alignment with plans and organizational standards
• Ensure proper application of the organization's M&E system
• Document, facilitate, and disseminate lessons learned on a regular basis

Capacity Building & Technical Assistance

• Provide training and technical assistance to government stakeholder staff in monitoring, evaluation, and project design
• Build the capacity of project-level FH Ethiopia staff
