ICT Officer at reputable Community Bank

About the Role

A reputable Community Bank in the Ashanti Region is seeking a qualified, experienced and motivated ICT Officer to strengthen its operations, business growth, risk management, technology infrastructure and customer service delivery.

Purpose

To implement and manage the Bank's information technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, servers and networks
• Strengthen IT security through updates, backups, antivirus protection and access controls
• Monitor system performance and respond to security threats
• Manage firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs and network infrastructure
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Support process automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain IT documentation and knowledge management systems

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years relevant IT experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role
• Master's degree or professional IT certification (advantageous)
• Banking or financial services experience (preferred)

Technical Competencies

• Windows Server administration
• Network infrastructure and security management
• Active Directory administration
• System monitoring and troubleshooting
• Backup and disaster recovery management
