Position Overview

MTN Ghana seeks a Senior Manager, Core Network Planning and Engineering to oversee the efficient and effective planning of converged core networks for voice, data, and digital services. This role ensures networks are secure, cost-effective, scalable, and resilient across 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, and Home Broadband technologies, while maintaining optimal quality of service and meeting user requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee planning of converged core networks supporting voice, data, and digital services across multiple technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, and Home Broadband)
• Conduct network dimensioning to accelerate time to market while maintaining security and performance
• Design and optimize signaling networks across all technologies
• Manage the lifecycle of all core network nodes
• Develop and implement the technology roadmap for core network evolution aligned with global trends and convergence strategies
• Ensure the core network supports current and future subscriber growth for MTN Ghana

Strategic Planning & Design

• Drive the strategic design and planning of cost-efficient core network architecture with a 5+ year horizon, accounting for technology evolution
• Translate MTN Ghana's business plan and subscriber growth forecasts into core network design and capacity requirements
• Develop future-proof core network architecture to meet current and evolving service demands
