Position Summary

The Medicine Counter Assistant is responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Manager and pharmacist with daily operations of the pharmacy, particularly with the sales of over-the-counter (OTC) medications and other pharmacy products. You will be responsible for shelf arrangements, cleaning of products, and other administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Assist walk-in customers as required, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of all pharmaceutical product offerings
• Provide information and advice on OTC medicines, health supplements, and general healthcare
• Manage sales transactions and cashiering, ensuring zero income leakage

Pharmacist Support

• Assist pharmacists with the organization of prescriptions and the distribution of medication
• Ensure proper labeling and packaging of prescribed medications under the supervision of a pharmacist

Stock Management

• Receive and verify deliveries against orders
• Stock shelves and ensure that display areas are organized and clean

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Applications
• Experience with ERP programs
