Asset Assurance Lead

About the Role

Spiro is seeking a qualified Asset Assurance Lead to manage and oversee all aspects of asset security, recovery, and operations within our energy network. This is a full-time position based in Kampala, Uganda.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the asset register for all energy network assets
• Develop and implement security policies, theft prevention measures, and risk assessments
• Lead incident response, crisis management, and coordination with law enforcement
• Oversee battery repossession operations, documentation, and field recovery teams
• Conduct audits, monthly asset counts, and implement preventive measures
• Recruit, train, and lead security and repossession personnel

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field
• 10+ years' experience in security operations, asset recovery, or risk management
• Strong knowledge of repossession laws and procedures
• Proven leadership, analytical, and crisis management skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience in energy, logistics, or fleet management
• Familiarity with GPS tracking, surveillance systems, and digital asset tools
• Multilingual abilities
