Accounting Teacher – IGCSE & A Level at GIU International Christian Academy

About the Position

GIU International Christian Academy is seeking a qualified Accounting Teacher to deliver comprehensive instruction in IGCSE and A Level accounting programs. This is a full-time position based in Tema, Golfcity, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the full accounting cycle, from source documents and journal entries to the preparation of financial statements
• Train students on industry-standard software including Excel, QuickBooks, and Sage
• Use real-world business scenarios to teach students how to analyze financial health, moving beyond formula memorization
• Create and grade periodic tests, practice sets, and mock professional exams to track student progress

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
• Degree or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
