## Title: Livelihood Officer

Position Overview

The Livelihood Officer implements project activities to build resilience in the most vulnerable communities of Kamba and Zala Districts in South Ethiopia Regional State. The position holder is responsible for ensuring resilient programming implementation in alignment with project model standards and local context.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilize communities and facilitate target selection and registration processes
  • Lead community engagement through participatory approaches to ensure active involvement in planning, implementing, and resilience interventions
  • Record and maintain all necessary documentation of operations and activities executed
  • Actively engage communities in participatory planning processes
  • Provide essential technical skills and knowledge to community members
  • Drive on-the-ground implementation of project activities
  • Foster development of on-farm and off-farm enterprises
  • Monitor progress and collaborate with local stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved at the community level
  • Provide hands-on technical support and facilitate capacity-building initiatives for communities and stakeholders
  • Establish demonstration sites and organize knowledge exchange activities
  • Support formation and development of Save for Tomorrow (S4T) groups, producer groups, and volunteer networks
