About Dodai:Dodai Manufacturing Plc (Dodai), is a recently incorporated organization launched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on August 01, 2023. Dodai is a fast growing organization with a mission of making urban e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services. Dodai plans to provide brand new electric two wheelers by assembling them here in Addis Ababa and plans to expand to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2026. Position Overview:The Direct Sales Manager will be responsible for leading showroom operations, meeting sales targets, and managing a team of sales associates to deliver excellent customer service. This role will report to the Head of Sales and Marketing. The Direct Sales Manager will implement the direct sales strategy, drive foot traffic , and ensure each showroom reaches its monthly and annual sales goals.Key Responsibilities:Direct Sales Strategy ImplementationDrive and implement direct sales strategies and initiatives across showrooms to achieve monthly and annual sales targets, adjusting tactics based on performance data and market trends.Team Management and DevelopmentRecruit, train, and manage showroom sales associates to build a high-performing team. Ensure consistent training in product knowledge, customer engagement, and sales techniques.Customer Education and Brand BuildingEducate customers on the benefits and functionalities of e-motorbikes as a new product in the market. Build a positive and reliable brand image for Dodai, fostering customer trust and product reliability.Lead Generation and Marketing CollaborationCollaborate with the marketing team to continuously test and implement various lead generation activities. Track and analyze the effectiveness of these activities, optimizing strategies to increase showroom traffic and customer engagement.Sales Reporting and Process OptimizationStandardize and streamline reporting processes across showrooms for accurate tracking of sales performance, customer interactions, and team productivity.Commission Structure DevelopmentEstablish a balanced commission structure for the direct sales team that considers both efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure the structure drives results, supports cost-effectiveness, and aligns with the company’s financial goals.Lead Generation, CRM, and Marketing SupportImplement and manage a CRM system to build an optimized and digital process for managing both new leads and existing customers, ensuring data accuracy, streamlined communication, and effective lead nurturing.
