Position Overview

The Junior Procurement & Logistics Officer will assist in foreign procurement and logistics operations, ensuring the purchase of raw materials, equipment, goods, supplies, and services needed for company operations. The successful candidate will follow established purchasing policies and procedures while protecting the company's economic and operational advantages in all purchase dealings and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of procurement plans
• Maintain up-to-date data on prices, suppliers, and other necessary information
• Verify purchase requisitions for proper authorization and budget clearance
• Check accuracy of part numbers, specifications, and other particulars
• Assist in the analysis and evaluation of purchase offers
• Prepare award letters and obtain supervisor signatures per procedures
• Prepare purchase orders or purchase agreements
• Examine and verify accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of documentation
• Ensure receipt of purchased items and services per purchase orders and requisitions
• Arrange for and facilitate logistics activities
• Ensure the company's economic and other advantages are secured in all purchase transactions
• Support all logistic activities of the company
