The organization works in collaboration with government bodies, UN agencies, NGOs, and community partners to create protective environments and promote positive socio-economic change in conflict-affected and underserved regions of the country.Reports to; GBV Project Manager & Senior Program ManagerSupervises: MHPSS Officers, case management officers, Health officers, & Legal support officers.Type of Employment- Four Months Contract with possibility of extension based on fund availability ROLE PURPOSE: The Mobile GBV Response Team is established to deliver integrated, survivor-centered, and confidential services to individuals affected by gender-based violence in hard-to-reach and underserved areas. The team, composed of legal, health, MHPSS, and GBV case management professionals, ensures timely access to medical care, psychosocial support, legal assistance, and safe case management services, promoting survivor safety, dignity, and access to justice in humanitarian and emergency settings.KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:Project Leadership & ManagementLead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of integrated GBV prevention and response activities.Develop project work plans, budgets, and monitoring frameworks.Ensure services are survivor-centered, confidential, culturally appropriate, and aligned with humanitarian principles.Supervise and support GBV officers, caseworkers, MHPSS staff, legal experts, and community mobilizers.2. Technical & Quality Assurance-through mobile approach Provide technical guidance on GBV case management, psychosocial support, legal assistance, health referrals, and safe spaces Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., GBV guiding principles) and national protection policies.Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and referral pathways.3. Coordination & CommunicationRepresent the project mobile team in GBV coordination forums, clusters, and inter-agency meetings.Strengthen collaboration with government woredas, Woreda health, Hospitals, one stop centers, Justice, woman affairs, UN agencies, NGOs, and community-based protection groups.Ensure effective referral mechanisms with health,...
