(LHC) is an Integrated Healthcare Solutions Company that provides high quality, advanced & a yet accessible and affordable specialized clinical service, import and distributes pharmaceuticals, teaching health fields in Addis Ababa and Hawassa cities.  Currently, LHC comprises  9 business units: Yanet Internal Medicine Specialized Center - Hwassa, Yanet General Hospital - A.A, Yanet Trauma and Surgical Specialized Center - Hawassa, Yanet Primary Hospital - Hawassa, Yanet Drugs and Medical Supplies Wholesale - Hawassa, Yanet-Liyana College of Health Sciences - Hawassa, Yanet Ophthalmic Specialty Clinic - Hawassa, Yanet Dental Specialty Clinic - Hawassa, LHC Health Consultancy - Hawassa, and the company has several sister companies across Ethiopia. LIYANA HEALTH CARE PLC would like to recruit potential candidates for the position of Biomedical Engineer to assign at Yanet Trauma and Surgical Specialized Center and Yanet Primary Hospital – Hawassa city. Therefore, qualified applicants who can perform the following responsibilities and satisfy mentioned requirements are invited to apply for the job vacancy. Summary of the position A Biomedical Engineer is responsible for developing biomedical equipment and medical devices to aid the quality of life for medical patients. His/Her duties include creating equipment, devices or software programs to benefit healthcare professionals and their patients, ensuring the safety and functionality of their creations before the start of manufacturing and helping healthcare professionals learn how to use their inventions in their daily practice.To be successful as a Biomedical Engineer you must be able to develop advanced healthcare technology and be able to advise others on how to use the technology effectively.Duties and Responsibilities:Designing and creating biomedical technology such as, machines, equipment, and software that can be used for diagnosing and treating medical problems.Installing and calibrating biomedical machines, equipment, and software.Evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical machines, equipment, and software.Maintaining and repairing biomedical machines and equipment, when needed.Providing technical support, when needed.Keeping up-to-date service histories on all biomedical machines and equipment.Train clinicians and other personnel on how to use biomedical machines and equipment, safely and effectively.Researching new materials, technologies, and engineering aspects of biological processes and systems.Writing reports and documents detailing protocols, policies, standards of use, maintenance, and repairs of biomedical equipment, machines, and software.Disseminating knowledge about the biomedical engineering field through writing, teaching, or consulting.Employment type: - Permanent Required: - 02 (two)  Salary: - Organization scale Work Place: - Hawassa
