Reach The Needy – Ethiopia (RTN-Ethiopia)  is a child focused community based, not for profit, non-religious and discrimination free indigenous humanitarian national organization that exists to help the Deprived, Excluded and Vulnerable children  become productive, confident and responsible citizens, parents and leaders of tomorrow that directly involve and contribute for the development of the country. RTN has been working different development & humanitarian programs in partnership with ChildFund, CARE Ethiopia, PLAN Ethiopia and UNICEF.  RTN-Ethiopia, made a partnership agreement with PLAN Ethiopia to implement Sponsorship project intervention in Sidama Region (Dara Woreda Kebeles) & South Ethiopia Region (Wolaita Zone, Boloso Sore Woreda). Therefore, we would like to invite interested and qualified applicants for the following post. Position:  Project Officer Number of Position Required: One (1) Place of work: Sidam Region, Dara Woreda Terms of employment: One year Contract with the possibility of extension based on availability of fund and work performance. Salary: Based on the organization’s salary scale JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of the Project Officer is to create accountability system of the sponsorship program, support community service seeking behavior, analyze complaints and provide feedbacks for program improvement with the objective of reducing child labor in project operational areas. The Project Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation, coordination, and monitoring of sponsorship program, education, livelihood activities at the community and school levels. The role focuses on supporting children and their households to access quality, inclusive education, livelihood improvement and ensuring effective community engagement, safeguarding, and accountability mechanisms. The job holder will report to Program Coordinator of RTN-Ethiopia. In consultation with the supervisor and in collaboration with project staffs she/he develops annual implementation plans, monitor complaints, facilitate enabling environment, and create accountability and identifying findings and lessons learned. He/she establishes and maintains effective working relationships with targeted community, project staffs, key government partners and NGOs working in the geographic areas. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:   Responsibility # 1: Project Implementation Participate on the development of annual and quarterly implementation plans and budgets of the filed program Lead ECD, Education, Livelihood, VSLA  project activities of the field Facilitate the technical design of project interventions and development of technical guidance and tools for office and staff at site level. Represent the project externally with partners, government and other agencies of the zonal, woreda level Prepare and share quality project reports as per donor and government requirements and also the project monitoring & evaluation plan to the office Ensure all the organization's field ...
