We export premium roasted coffee to international markets and supply top-tier hotels and leading supermarkets across Ethiopia.Job PurposeThe General Services Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all general service operations to ensure a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and well-maintained working environment. The role oversees security, fleet, facilities, utilities, property, civil maintenance, canteen, liaison activities, and general service procurement.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist security guard deployment, access control, and circulation of people and vehicles.Oversee cleaning, gardening, and laundry services to maintain hygiene and environmental standards.Administer fleet management, including vehicle inventory, inspections, preventive maintenance, fuel and expense control, GPS journey monitoring, insurance claims, annual inspections, and driver safety assessments.Supervise canteen operations to ensure food quality, hygiene, and cost efficiency.Assist in managing liaison activities with government offices, utilities, municipalities, and external stakeholders.Administer utility services (electricity, water, telecom, internet) and monitor consumption and costs.Assist in managing company properties, leases, records, and utilization.Oversee civil maintenance, repairs, renovations, and contractor works.Coordinate procurement and warehouse activities related to general service supplies and assets.Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, safety standards, and budget controls.
